We are proud to announce that three abstracts developed within the WasteBridge project have been accepted for in-person poster presentations at the RETASTE 2026 Conference, which will be held on September 16–18, 2026, in Rethymno, Greece.
The accepted abstracts are:

🔹 “From Celery Pomace to Functional Snack: Development of Corn Tortilla Chips with Celery Pomace”
First author: Snežana Zlatanović
🔹 “Techno-Functional and Bioactive Potential of Celery Pomace Flour Produced from Juice Industry By-Products”

All three abstracts will be presented in the session “NOV: Novel Materials from Food Resources”, highlighting innovative strategies for food by-product valorization, circular economy, and sustainable food systems.
These contributions reflect the goals of the WasteBridge project—transforming food by-products into value-added ingredients and products that support a more sustainable and resource-efficient food chain.
